Hashem Alattas is a seasoned Senior Manager with a diverse background in the energy sector. Currently, he holds the position of Acting head overseeing the MENA portfolio and serves as the Managing Director for the KSA office at Masdar. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives and operational management to foster the growth and advancement of Masdar’s regional projects.

Previously, Hashem was employed at Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) until January 2024, where he last served as an Assets Manager. He represented TAQA on various boards and committees, driving corporate initiatives in areas such as Internal Audit, risk assessment, HSE, Business Continuity, and Cybersecurity.

Hashem earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Banking from the United Arab Emirates University, graduating in 2011
