Faris Eid Al-Qatarneh is a senior executive with over 22 years in leadership and management experience in both private and public sectors, including government, manufacturing, insurance, energy, real estate development and social service organizations. Mr. Al-Qatarneh is the Chief Executive Officer of The Link Group Limited, a consultancy firm based in Abu Dhabi, UAE that serves as a gateway to the region through supporting its clients in identifying the right opportunities and building successful and sustainable businesses. The Link Group also supports clients from the region in strengthening relations and doing business through its diverse partnerships globally. 

Mr. Al-Qatarneh is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Northern Cement, a Jordanian publicly traded company and one of Jordan’s largest cement providers with over 250 million dollars market cap. He is also an Executive Board Member of the Middle East Insurance Company, Jordan's leading insurance firm, and a Senior Advisor to Saudi Pan Kingdom Holding [SAPAC], one of Saudi Arabia’s top contracting, construction and industrial entities. served as a board member of a number of corporations in the fields of real estate development, renewable energy, social services and various industries.

In 2010, he served as a Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs. Prior to his term, he was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister (PM) Samir Al Rifai, managing the PM's team and overseeing the relationship with all key stakeholders including members of the cabinet, the Royal Court as well as the Parliament, in addition to restructuring the Prime Ministry. In 2007, he was named an Ambassador by His Majesty King Abdullah II and appointed Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Prior to working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Al-Qatarneh worked as the Assistant Chief of the Royal Protocol at the Royal Hashemite Court.

Mr. Al-Qatarneh is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization [YPO] Jordan Chapter, Jordan Board Association as well as the Jordan Intellectual Property Association. 

He received several medals including the Second Order of Independence awarded by His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Grand Officer Medal awarded by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, and decorations from the Netherlands, Hungary, and Spain. 

Mr. Al-Qatarneh was born in 1974 in Amman, Jordan. He attained his bachelor’s degree in law from Jordan University and LLM (Intellectual Property Law) from George Washington University.
